The initial taste is earthy and mellow, without any harsh bitterness. On the palate, it warms with a spicy, peppery note that adds depth to the concentrate. The finish rises with a clean citrus zest that brightens the whole and leaves the throat feeling calm.
Upon opening, the earthiness speaks first, a deep, dry base, far removed from heavy brown hash. A spicy, peppery note settles in just behind. Warm the extract slightly: a lively citrus zest rises and awakens the entire bouquet.
Light sandy beige, covered in a whitish frosted veil that gives it its name. Typical crumble texture: dry and sandy, it crumbles under the finger rather than sticking, dotted with small air bubbles and hollow pockets clearly visible under a microscope. When cold, the extract remains brittle and breaks into clean pieces; when heated, it softens and becomes malleable.
